Dr. Tina Thomas offers a very progressive dental practice that has always strived to be on the cutting edge of new advancements in dentistry. She has always been committed to dental education beyond dental school by accessing world renowned education and bringing her knowledge back to Highlands County. She also provides a gentle touch to dentistry by being the only female general dentist in Sebring, Avon Park, Hardee or South Polk County.
She has been voted in 2007 and 2008 as one of America's Top Dentists by the Consumer Research Council of America. She is also the only Highlands County dentist invited to join the Polk County branch of the Seattle Study Club which brings nationally recognized speakers to the area, she has also presented to this group. She is also a member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy Honors Society, an internationally recognized group of dentists who are elected by their peers.
Dr. Thomas's commitment to education and advancements include a mini pediatric residency program at the University of Florida which provides her with expanded knowledge on providing children's dental services along with attending the International Implant Symposium to learn the latest advancements including CT scanning on implant placement.
She is a 1995 Graduate of the University of Florida school of Dentistry. She has a husband, Isaac Durrance, and a daughter Savannah Durrance who attends Sun n' Lakes Elementary School.
Her hobbies include attending University of Florida sporting events, being a citrus grower, and spending time with her family.
